Designed for beginner riders, this camp is an excellent opportunity to introduce a child to horseback riding, or build upon existing skills.  Kids will learn about horses from head to tail including: Haltering a horse, safely leading a horse, grooming, bathing, and picking out their feet, cleaning stalls, feeding, and of course, riding!

All campers will ride daily, have a horse care activity, and do a craft.  A riding demonstration will be performed on the last day of camp for friends and family.  Please provide a sack lunch, water bottle, and sunscreen. All participants should wear boots, jeans, or other riding apparel and riding helmet (one may be provided).

For 2008, Taramia is proud to partner with Cottage Hill Farm & Linda deLarios to host summer camp. Cottage Hill offers wonderful amenities including a large arena and mini trails.  Times will be 8:30 to 1:30 each day M-F and the weekly cost will be $300. A daily rate will also be available.  Inquire about a multiple week discount.
